Shop to Support Desert Southwest Chapter has been very fortunate to partner with several businesses over the years, offering support to our chapter though various events and fundraising offers on behalf of JDRF. To show your support, please take advantage of the following discounts and offers. Monday, August 30th Support JDRF by eating at Chili's! All day on August 30th present the attached flyer when dining at a participating Chili's and JDRF will receive 10%. You must bring the flyer for your order to count. Participating Chili's: Chandler Fashion, Gilbert, Dobson, Superstition Springs, Tempe, Mesa, McKellips, and Signal Butte. Chili's Flyer September 10, 2010 Screen on the Green Event Looking for something fun to do with the whole family on Friday night? Join us for Vaseo Apartment Homes very first Screen on the Green Event. Join us on September 10th, 2010 at 7:30pm for a FREE Family Movie, Food, Drinks and Giveaways! There will be a raffle table selling tickets for 2 x 32" Flat Screen TV's, 3 x $300.00 Visa Gift Cards and Much More! All proceeds collected at the event will be donated to JDRF! Don't forget to bring a blanket to stretch out on as you enjoy a screening of Toy Story 3 before it's released on DVD! Support Ribbons Have you seen those ribbons for everything from ‘Support Our Troops’ to ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ and wished there was something you could put on a car to show your support for Diabetes Research? Now there is, we have JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes magnetic sneakers for your car or fridge! Each Magnet is $5.00 and comes in Red, Blue, Green, Yellow or Purple. All the money raised goes to support JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes. Show your support for a cure for diabetes by adhering these magnets to your vehicle or refrigerator! Help spread the word by showing JDRF’s signature logo, the sneaker. Each sneaker is a donation of just $5! Proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Your sneakers will be sent as soon as the donation is received! Looking for a fun way to cool off this summer? JDRF has partnered with Wet n’ Wild Phoenix to help keep you cool while raising funds for JDRF. Buy tickets from JDRF for $30 each and $8 from each ticket will go to your 2010 family walk team. Wet n’ Wild is located at 43rd Ave and Pinnacle Peak. The water park is currently open on weekends, and will be open 7 days a week starting Memorial Day weekend and will close September 26, 2010.
