Fund-A-Cure
In 1970, a small group of parents founded JDRF and made a promise to their children to raise money for diabetes research.
Their original mission is as unwavering today as it was then. Thanks to people like you, we have made astounding progress toward a
cure, and already have a number of better ways to treat the disease and keep people healthy until a cure is found.
At The Promise Ball on January 21st, 2012 there will be a moment after the Live Auction when the room is stilled, the story of hope
unfolds and Fund-A-Cure begins. You are invited to join JDRF in the movement that has accelerated the crucial research that represents
real hope for millions of children and adults. All so the dream of living diabetes-free can be a reality for all children and adults
living with this disease daily!
Whether or not you are able to join us on January 21st, you can still participate in Fund-A-Cure. To make a Fund-A-Cure donation

In the face of adversity, diabetes does not go away. You can make a difference in the life of someone with diabetes. On January 21st,
you can join JDRF to ensure that research funding continues and we maintain our focus on finding a cure for diabetes – fulfilling a
promise made more than 40 years ago.
How JDRF Fund-A-Cure works:
- The auctioneer will call out various funding levels, starting at
$50,000 and ending at $100.
- When you hear the level which you wish to make a contribution, simply raise your bid card until your bid number is recorded.
