Introducing Social Hub, an Interactive Directory of Diabetes-related Events & Groups in the Desert Southwest Chapter
JDRF’s “Social Hub,” is a new website to serve as an interactive and searchable directory of diabetes-related social events, meet-up groups and activities.
The site, http://jdrfsocialhub.org, will allow adults and teens with diabetes, parents and caregivers of children with diabetes, educators and facilitators to find each other and locate support groups, events and activities. The directory of events is searchable, filterable and interactive.
Anyone can publish an event or create a group. Users can write reviews, upload photos and make plans with one another. The site is projected to be the largest online host of diabetes-related event listings in the Desert Southwest Chapter.
Signing up is easy: simply login using your Facebook account or create a new account with your name and email.
